Homeowners Insurance
A homeowner's Insurance Policy is a package policy. The policy provides financial protection for your home and personal belongings, and it covers your legal responsibility for any injury or property damage that is caused by you and members of your household.
Damage caused by most disasters is covered, but there are exceptions. Flood and Earthquake are not part of a standard Homeowner policy. Earthquake coverage may be added by endorsement. Flood coverage can be purchased on a separate policy.
Additional coverage may either be included in your policy, or available for a separate price. It is important to discuss your options with an independent insurance agent who can make recommendations depending on your specific needs.
Please Note
These are general policy descriptions to help you understand the different types of coverages. They do not refer to any specific contract of insurance, and they do not modify any definitions expressly stated in any contracts of insurance. We encourage you to speak to your insurance representative and to read your policy contract to fully understand your coverages.
